In October, District 8 Council voted to change the game playing regulations for all Regional and District Playoff games to eliminate ties.
All games will be played to a winner, with as many overtime periods as needed, starting this week. The winner will receive 2 points and the loser will receive 0 (unlike the NHL.)
The MAHA District 8 Playoff Handbook has been updated to include this change, including overtime lengths, flood schedules, etc.
